Welcome to our website. Enjoy our 16th century castle domain with an ultra-modern brewery, a cosy pub with a beautiful heated terrace and, for those who really want to stay, a romantic "Bed and Breakfast" in the castle.
After the abbots of Sint-Truiden and later Prime Minister Duvieusart had left Ter Dolen castle, we opened the castle doors that had remained closed for centuries, and so the success story of our abbey beer began.
We would like to welcome you to Helchteren to Ter Dolen to taste the real atmosphere. But those who cannot wait can taste our beer in the pub or at home.
